On June 25, 2026, Spiegel & McDiarmid partner Jeff Bayne spoke at the national conference for the Alliance for Community Media (ACM) in Madison, WI. He presented on the latest updates about the Department of Justice’s regulations implementing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with respect to digital accessibility standards for web and mobile applications, which are applicable to state and local governments. His presentation also covered ADA obligations that go beyond the technical standards in the latest regulations and also covered best practices for state and local governments and their partners. Jeff has been a member of the ACM Board of Directors since November 2022.
