Overview
Amanda Drennen joined Spiegel & McDiarmid LLP in the fall of 2018 following her graduation from New York University School of Law where she was an Executive Editor of the Environmental Law Journal.
During law school, Amanda interned with the Eastern Environmental Law Center where she formulated legal, economic, and public interest arguments opposing construction of a natural gas pipeline. She also participated in NYU’s Environmental Law Clinic, working with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Clean Energy Program. Amanda worked at Spiegel & McDiarmid as a Summer Associate in 2017, researching and drafting memoranda on energy, hydropower, union, and telecommunications matters.
Since joining Spiegel & McDiarmid, Amanda has represented a diverse array of clients before state public service commissions, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and federal courts.
